Laziness… is it negative?

I want to make sure we are clear on the idea of laziness. Even though the laziness itself doesn’t seem to be so negative, it’s the seed of remaining into the self-alone, which leads to sadness, feelings of worthlessness, anger, jealousy … .

Today, here are some ways you can choose to go outside yourself and inject a little love and effort:

-better the relationship with your spouse, family, friends

-manifest a good intention

-help your family, your community

-think about what you learned today and how you can improve

-fight bad thoughts instead of allowing them to continue

-develop discipline

-get into the gym

-watch what you are putting in your mouth

-pray

-read Zohar

-help another worse off than you

-break a bad habit

Take your pick.

Regrets, Resentments, and other vicious Life-Killers

Regrets, I’ve had a few … .How many of us are stuck in ruts because we cling to past slights, traumas, missed opportunities, and betrayals? The best way to let go and move forward is to acknowledge and accept those negative things you did (or had done to you) as steps on the path that brought you to where you need to be today.

Today, recall the pain of your past. Allow yourself to get to the point where you can accept that they were blessings; the perfect things that helped you build a new you. If you can release your grip on the anger, sadness, and regret, then it will be easier to spot the Light in the darkness. (quoted from daily kabbalah tuneup)
Interesting that this would come up just now.

I am working with a client/friend, let’s call her DD. She has been doing great. She has gotten in touch with the light in herself and her power to choose.

She is severely overweight and it’s effecting her overall health, but more than anything, her self image.

This past week she has gotten hungry twice while she was doing errands, and she didn’t give in to the temptation to get a quick supersized meal at the many fast food places on her way… instead she drove home and ate what she had planned to eat that day. Major victory.

The effect on her self esteem, self image was dramatic. She suddenly could see the light at the end of the tunnel, both in regards to regaining her health, and in regards to making a living, being a good parent, loving herself.

Her capacity to face what she didn’t like about herself increased to a point where

There are three categories of gurus and three types of seekers:

Guru Category 1. The Hopeful Path: Naive, pliable, hopeful. Hoping that what you are doing is going to take you out of the misery: having feelings, and a constant battle inside between the aspects of a human being, each pulling in a different direction. You really really really want to be enlightened! Really… lol. But you know you aren’t.

There is shame and guilt and sadness in your emotions, and often anguish: the fear of being caught.Ultimately you “do” this spirituality stuff to get away from being human. You fail. There is no escape… you are human, with all that comes with that territory.

  1. Category 1. The Hopeful Path: Naive, pliable, hopeful. There is no escape… you are human, with all that comes with that territory. You are doing it all to fix a problem, and all solutions will become the next and bigger problem. You cannot fix being human… and that’s a problem for you.

The mystical experiences are few and far between, and you need to keep up appearances… but your life is boring, it’s miserable, you can’t do what a “normal” human can do: change directions, listen to the soul… you are stuck on a path that is not yours to sit on. You can’t go forward and you can’t go backward… it will look bad, and your followers will question your attainment, so you are stuck.

Accomplishment, fulfillment is not possible on this path, except intermittently. Although you seem to be living inward, what decided, what defines your being is all appearances, other people’s opinion.

In the relationship master/disciple, student, follower, the strings are all in the disciple’s hand. I have studied the Master/submissive relationship where the situation is the same: the submissive will decide what can and should be done and how. The submissive can leave the Master can’t.

The “guru” is now stuck, and can only sweeten his/her pot by adding some drugs, sex, alcohol, your choice…

Vibrational Review: Amma The Hugging Saint or what is love in the Original Design?

amma the hugging saint Vibrational Review: Amma The Hugging Saint, aka Ammachi

Personal vibration: 200 (Updated value on 6/20/2013)

Why so low? because she has been holding her face to the light. But all the vibrational rise comes from looking at the darkness and transforming it.

The problem with Eastern religions is thus revealed.

The very few high vibration people in the Indian subcontinent do the same thing. Live a lower self, selfish, self-centered life and meditate holding their face to the light, smiling, as if it made a difference.
