There are three categories of gurus and three types of seekers:

  1. Category 1. The Hopeful Path: Naive, pliable, hopeful. Hoping that what you are doing is going to take you out of the misery: having feelings, and a constant battle inside between the aspects of a human being, each pulling in a different direction. They really really really want to be enlightened! Really… lol. But they know they aren’t. There is shame and guilt and sadness in their emotions, and often anguish: the fear of being caught.Ultimately you “do” this spirituality stuff to get away from being human. You fail. There is no escape… you are human, with all that comes with that territory. You are doing it all to fix a problem, and all solutions will become the next and bigger problem. You cannot fix being human… and that’s a problem for you.

The mystical experiences are few and far between, and you need to keep up appearances… but your life is boring, it’s miserable, you can’t do what a “normal” human can do: change directions, listen to the soul… you are stuck on a path that is not yours to sit on. You can’t go forward and you can’t go backward… it will look bad, and your followers will question your attainment, so you are stuck.

Accomplishment, fulfillment is not possible on this path, except intermittently. Although you seem to be living inward, what decided, what defines your being is all appearances, other people’s opinion.

In the relationship master/disciple, student, follower, the strings are all in the disciple’s hand. I have studied the Master/submissive relationship where the situation is the same: the submissive will decide what can and should be done and how. The submissive can leave the Master can’t.

The “guru” is now stuck, and can only sweeten his/her pot by adding some drugs, sex, alcohol, your choice…

Emotional Healing… Emotions and Vibration

Emotional-HealingThis morning I was browsing the internet for sites that deal with the vibration of emotions.

I found a few, and dug deeper on one.

The website I found had a really good, high vibration piece of content, that I even felt worthy to put into a pdf, so it is easier to read on your mobile device. And if I am lucky, I can have the computer read it into an mp3, so you can drive while you listen.

The vibration of the document, which means its truth value is 600.

The person’s vibration is 170.

WTF, right?

Talk Back to me: on connection, on meditation. on other gurus

Summary: When you write me an email, you can expect that it is going to be published or ignored. Why? Because I am not your private coach and I don’t have to answer your questions… If I feel like it, I answer them publicly: that way your question and my answer contributes to others as well.

Hi Sophie,

Thank you for considering doing a meditation session for those of us outside of the EST time zone. ((Considering Saturday early evening…))

I woke up at 2 am for some reason this morning and decided it was a good time to try the meditations.

I pulled in many techniques I had learned from various teachers most notably Dr Alex Loyd (personal vibration: 200… big drop from last time I checked) from The Healing Codes. He had taught that in order to increase the effectiveness of his work, you had to roll the eyes up and back (something you reiterated in your blog recently), you had to place your hands on the top of your head in a certain way and you had to deep breath through the chest in a certain way. ((This is new to me, and cannot be an accident. I have touted that without connecting to Source the Healing Codes isn’t doing anything. So, I guess, Dr. Alex heard about that, and tries to incorporate it… hm. Very interesting, how one (me) influences culture))

Vibrational Reviews: Rhiannon Paille, Denise Linn, Slade Roberson, Lillian Too

Dear Sophie,

Since I found your website last week and read your posts, the information you shared rings true to my heart. In fact, it wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that your information totally changes what I had been believing in pursuing my spiritual development and fulfilling my life purpose. You also totally changed the way I consider almost all of the spiritual gurus and books in the market today. I feel grateful to have found you and I want to learn the truth.

I am now discarding almost all my spiritual books and beliefs.

Marketers are storytellers, often liars… Healers, teachers, gurus, are marketers. And they are liars if their stories are lies…

healers are marketersOne of my favorite books is Seth Godin’s ‘All Marketers Are Liars.’

Now, this book isn’t teaching not to believe everyone’s story, it teaches how to craft your story so people that are like you, that people that are easily fascinated, will become your fans.

In the industry of healers, gurus, psychics, ascension people, the stories are more important than in any other industry.

Stuff I want you to see: The Guru Myth, Its Destructive Power and A Cure.

Sophie’s notes: I do not necessarily agree with a lot what’s written in this article, yet it’s a good piece of writing, and I want you to read it.

I will add some notes when I have time… And some vibrational measurements of the people he mentions… Patience, it’s coming.

The Word and The Myth.

The word “guru” has taken on a life of its own in Western pop culture. The media and advertising talk about “stock gurus,” “marketing gurus,” sports gurus” and on and on – the characterization being someone who has a particular insight into their chosen field and is trusted by others as being able to solve certain problems or provide a highly effective strategy on how to be successful.

We know of course that the word originates in India and simply means “teacher.” In India one’s schoolteacher, dance instructor, parent – really anyone in an authoritative or instructive role might be considered your guru in their particular domain.

But when the word is used in a spiritual context it has a very specific meaning and is located within a very particular Hindu belief system. A guru in this sense is a cut above ordinary human beings. What distinguishes the guru from us mere mortals is that they are “enlightened” or “self-realized.”

Basically the claim is that there are certain very special people who have crossed a very specific threshold in their spiritual awareness – and they know the ultimate truth about the nature of reality.

Vibrational Review: what is enlightenment adyashanti

If I understand correctly, Adyashanti is a guy’s name…

Personal vibration: 90
What he teaches: 90

why so low? Because the guy is talking all Tree of Knowledge, something he has never experienced. I could say he is talking out of his arse, but when I listen to him, I can hear this: he is talking out of his memory, and his self-rightous and self-assured “self” which is a very very very low vibration.

Who does he attract? like attracts like, and he attracts people just like himself. What is the common characteristic of the people who are attracted to what he is saying? He is explaining that enlightenment is not a 24/7 bliss… and yet, the people that he attracts are the MacDonald’s wholesale transformation forever hoping types.

Do not bother listening to him.

Now, a few words from me, and where I am speaking from is the nothing that is outside of the MIND (not ego as he says) and from personal expereience through connecting to all-of-it.

There is no 24/7 bliss.

I have found a great resource

I am thinking of using Osho’s dynamic meditations to guide people to no-mind. Sneak in a little fun, sneak in physicality, sneak in joy… Instead of the anxiety and seriousness most people relate to the getting-out-of-the-mind issue.

As I was searching to download the music of those great meditations, I found a series of articles and quotes, by Osho, on fake gurus. Here is an article on U.G. Krishnamurti. A few months ago I would not have believed him, but I saw a video on youtube, Krishnamurti on his deathbed, and it was so convincing, that I now believe what Osho says.

Osho Quotes on U G Krishnamurti

Just the other day I was reading a lecture of U. G. Krishnamurti. He says he went to see Ramana Maharshi. He was not attracted — because he was chopping vegetables. Yes, Ramana Maharshi was that kind of man, very ordinary. Chopping vegetables! U. G. Krishnamurti must have gone to see somebody extraordinary sitting on a golden throne or something. Ramana Maharshi just sitting on the floor and chopping vegetables? preparing vegetables for the kitchen! He was very much frustrated.
Then another day he went and saw him reading jokes. Finished for ever! This man knows nothing. This man is very ordinary. He left the ashram; it was not worth it. But I would like to say to you: this man, Ramana Maharshi, is one of the greatest Buddhas ever born to the world. That was his Buddhahood in action!

Ode to an exceptional teacher, Robert Plank

Robert Plank and Sophie Benshitta Maven I “met” my business/marketing teacher, Robert Plank, 37 years my junior, red-headed punk programmer genius at the time, in early 2009.

I wanted to learn php programming from him, because I didn’t know what I wanted to do in life, so learning programming sounded like a good idea.

I had been learning marketing, mindset, everything and anything… when you don’t know where you are going, every path takes you there… lol.

I remember being on the first webinar with him. I didn’t know I was an empath and I could feel the tension between the two partners like my own, and I was rooting for Robert. He stammered, he talked to fast, he was eager and loved teaching!

I could not learn anything in the first course, nothing in the second course, ditto the third course, but I was coming back.

Then on the fourth course I could do three out of the 10 assignments, and I knew I found a home.

Doing the assignments is both a capacity issue and a mindset issue.
