What is inspiration? A movie to inspire you to go beyond

Inspiration… inspired… inspirable…

What do these words mean?
The spirit within: inside-spirit
I measure how much the spirit is active within you… and how much, on the current vibrational level, the current integrity level, the current about-me level, the spirit can be aroused.

You cannot be more inspiring that you can be inspired.

The number one communication tool you have available, creating a vision in another person, about themselves, about a project, about the future.

When you can create a vision and communicate it to yourself or to another, all upsets disappear, and you have the amazing result: the person (you?) wants to do what is consistent with that vision… which is what you would want them to do.

Desire kills ambition. Desire kills accomplishment.

What prevents you from growing, what prevents you from becoming all you can become?

Ambition is what makes people grow, ambition is what makes people accomplish things that are not easy.

But ambition is kept in check… as I said above, by desire that everybody says is good for you… Bah humbug.

Let’s see what the words actually mean before we continue.

Ambition is directing your motive power, your inner motive power towards the accomplishment of something: learning, building, mastering. In my view, the beingness view: ambition is the willingness to go/do for what you want.

Compare it with motivation, which is mostly outward directed: the carrot and the stick is ways to motivate the unmotivated. In motivation the motivator uses desire to to the trick and not the inner motive power, the power of the spirit within.

Motivation is for having… the carrot, the feeling, the security, the reward, the result. The stuff that is actually wholly out of your control… so motivation makes you a perpetual carrot chasing person.

Motivation whips the desire into a feverish pitch… it keeps you tense, keeps you needy, keeps you wretched.

Ambition, on the other hand is motivated by beingness given that it comes from the spirit within. It doesn’t concern itself with what it can’t control: it concerns itself with what you can control fully: your behavior, and on higher vibrational levels: your beingness.
One could say that Ambition is process oriented, while motivation is result oriented.
Desire is always from need, and desire to receive for the self alone.
People with a high desire number are motivated to get the result they crave at the expense of another: the other has to pay the price.

Behind or underneath that desire is the unresolved, unmanaged ITCH.

The person with high desire wants to scratch that itch by getting something whatever it takes. But the ITCH cannot be scratched by anything outside of you… no matter how much you try it, how hopeful it looks.

You got married to scratch that ITCH?
You got thin to scratch that ITHC?
You got fat to scratch that ITCH?
You became top of the class to scratch that ITCH?
You got wealthy to scratch that ITCH?
You became a criminal to scratch that ITCH?

It is hard to turn your life around, and become a person who grows while you have the ITCH running your life. There is a conflict between the devil you know, and the devil you don’t.
But I have a surprise for you: EVERYTHING can be resolved in COMMUNICATION.
Communication, you ask? Who am I going to talk to?

First off: talking isn’t communication.

And because your issue is an inner conflict, not with another person, the issue needs to be resolved with yourself… in communication.
How do you do that? What do you say?
To my chagrin, communication, the ability to communicate to make things happen is even more missing in our culture than courage.

Communication is the ability to make things happen, over

This is one of those weeks: I am all talked out.

And I rarely say anything twice. I expressed it once, and I am done with it.

34 years ago I started my journey from misery to The Promised Land… It was promised… and I went for it.

It was the last weekend of August back in 1985.

I snuck away from Jerusalem, where I lived at the time. Took the 2-hour bride to Haifa, took a taxi, and voila, my journey began.

It was a Communication Workshop. In Hebrew. My Hebrew was good enough to do work, but was pretty meager for transformational work, so it wasn’t till the last day that I understood a full sentence.

But that didn’t prevent me from having a breakthrough.

Sharing. The misused word… just share… i.e. sell?

I know the word sharing gets thrown around in these emails quite a bit. Sometimes we become numb to the word. To get back to basics, sharing means giving something of ourselves.

It can be sharing with someone we’re not used to sharing with. It can be opening up with someone we’re not used to opening up to. It can be calling someone with whom we’re holding a grudge and wishing them well and saying something nice, some words of wisdom. It can be anything. It just has to be an unconditional stretch.
As a certified est-hole and Landmark junkie, I have heard the urging “Share, share share.”

In Landmark they mean “Bring more chumps like you so that Landmark can become a World Class Organization, here to stay.” They mean: do our selling for us. Maybe they don’t, but that is how it lands for people.

In multilevel marketing companies (network marketing, MLM) they say the same thing, but mean, definitely, selling.

Get the f… out of my way!

Recovering Victim, get the f… out of my way.

That was on the front of my T-shirt in 1991 at the Communication Commando Course… a week long Landmark Education program.

What was that about?

Here is the story.

In the course, on the 2nd day, if I remember correctly, we were talking about your “default” albeit hidden way of communicating. We formed small groups of five, and we looked at each other and made up a little statement of what we thought the person was communicating under their usual facade.

How to Get Guidance from the Beyond

Dream 1: I am playing with and fascinated by some colored dots that make a pattern, though moving, still a pattern, building something. At some point the dots suddenly lose color and die, and the fascinating pattern deteriorates to a one color dying, diminishing mess. I wake up. I know it is the message I asked for. My interpretation: don’t be fascinated with the ever changing outside world… turn your attention inward where you call all the shots.

Dream 2: I am invited to a conference in France. I haven’t been there for over 30 years. I want to go. I go. I just throw some clothes in an overnight bag and go. I am there, and I am having fun. I am ready to come back… I can’t. The doors of the US are closed. I am not having fun any more. I have no money, no place to stay. None of my things, including my business, are with me, it was all left in the US. I panic. I wake up. I sob. “I left without as much as a blanket and a pillow…” I cry. I know it is a message. I don’t think I have asked for this. But it came, so it is relevant. My interpretation: 1. think before you leap and don’t do something if it risks too much. 2. Leap. Build from nothing. that is where the blessing is. How can you do those two things at the same time?
