Emotional detox?

Before you can go up, you need to go down! Just like in building a house. Because unless you clear off the “stuff” and then dig deep to know what’s under the top soil, your house will be warped and collapse in a hurry, often while you are building it.

For most of you this is really bad news, because you are hellbent on staying phony happy, phony loving, phony well… delusionally high self-esteem-ed, and you are unwilling to even look at what is real. But what’s real is real, and if you ignore it it will bite you in the a-s-s. No compassion, no looking, just continuing what isn’t working, and never will work is stupid… Here, I said it. Stupid.

Here is another spiritual law, the Law of Flexibility

This is from the book “The Life you were born to live” a book you can get for next to nothing…

As much as I struggle with reading so much English, perfect sentences, I recognize that I am probably the minority and people like reading stuff like that. I teach this law, I don’t call it law, and it is about five sentences when I teach it.

So maybe using other people’s words will make me a more effective teacher, and will be able to get through to you.

This law, the law of flexibility, is a combination of several distinctions:

you only have power when you are present.
you cannot be present if and when you resist anything
you can embrace that which wants to enslave you, and when you actually embrace it, you have all the power to take it anywhere (you can see it in marshal arts, or any fighting… by the way)
context is decisive. Create an empowering context and life will flow without any resistance.
happiness is accepting what is.

So, here you had my five sentences, and here are the many sentences of Dan Millman in the book “The life you were born to live”. Now you see why I don’t publish books… most books waste people’s life.

Why you are fat, tired, listless, dumb, moody, and lack libido (if you do)…

Ultimate healing is possible
You are tired, you are fat, you are listless and you are dumb… oh and moody, argumentative, resistant, edgy… Hard to be with… Or maybe you are meek and don’t have the courage to take care of yourself… Maybe it is not only in your head, maybe it is not only your personality… Maybe it has a lot to do with what you eat, what you drink, and this article is about that…

You have pieces of information here, pieces of information there, disconnected, most of it is untrue. In fact, the average truth value of information on the planet is 1%
The market is flooded with information and products that claim that all your misery is caused by a single cause… It’s bacteria! It’s viruses! You simply lack of enzymes! You are not breathing enough! You lack minerals, here is Youngevity! You’ll get well! You lack essential fatty acids, here, take this! You need to move! Start exercising! You are too acidic, you need to drink alkaline water! You lack of this, you lack of that. And, of course, those products will fix that one single cause… or not even that.

These bombastic claims hit a nerve in you, and you buy what they are selling. Then, for a month (or so) you’ll feel better… only to go back to feeling weak and sick, and sore, and sluggish, and depressed… etc. again.

Then comes along another product and you try that… another good month… and then come a slew of other products… but nothing really ever changes. You are tired, sluggish, fat, dumb… however you were before you started.

How do I know? I used to do that myself.

Foresight is available only to sentient beings. Nature, the Universe, don’t have foresight

Foresight is available only to sentient beings. Nature, the Universe, don’t have foresight, don’t predict, don’t care, don’t make things wrong, don’t have regrets, and… gasp, evolution is NOT the survival of the fittest, it is the survival of the lucky. I’ll talk about this last one in another article, when the thought will be fully developed.

For now, I am interested in foresight and divination… this is the subject of this article.

There are two big categories of humans from the aspect of personal growth.

sheep, victim, the effect… not in action, hoping, praying, visualizing, etc.
the climber

Climber can be someone who climbs the Tree of Life… and can be the type of person I want to talk about in this article. The politician. The ruthless user. The win-lose type of person. The either/or person who cannot even imagine, tolerate, or stomach the you AND me model of thinking.

Why do you want to know them? Because you need to know evil intimately to fight evil. Both outside and inside.

When the guru is wrong…

When the ‘guru’ is wrong

People put gurus on a pedestal, but guru simply means ‘teacher’ in some language: teacher… wise teacher.

But I am not a guru. I may teach, but my methodology, experimenting, is more scientific.

Scientists have a hypothesis, and then proceed to prove or disprove it. Both are good results.

But sometimes a preconceived notion leaks in. 😦

Another example of “unless.” One Word That Should Never Follow “I Love You”

It’s been very difficult for me to bring examples to the phenomenon “or-ness”, in spite of the fact that it is all over. I was trying to define it, but it’s eluded me.

Here is an article I didn’t write. It is a beautiful illustration of the principle of how to replace “or” with “and” and give birth to a lot better, a lot more loving life than it was before. Really nicely done:

How your past self is creating your future and what you can do about it

There is a Landmark Education distinction that no one gets…

It has a huge overlap with the distinction “you live in a world of your own design”.

This, the “you live in a world of your own design” is somewhat like the Law of Attraction: you attract what you are… but much deeper. It is BEING that, not feeling, or thinking only, though you may feel and think it as well.

But thinking and feeling don’t create being… the reverse, the opposite is true. The thinking and the feeling come from your being.
The overlapping distinction, “you are a clearing for” is almost the same, but has a funnel like feeling to it.

What is the connection between respect and appreciation? Both respect and appreciation are spiritual capacities… states of being.

I am having a lot of insights lately. Of course, it was predictable: I am running an experimental workshop: it is driving up the questions.

When you have questions, relevant questions, you are going to get insights. You ask irrelevant questions? you’ll get no insights.

Anyway, the circumstance this morning was this: I accidentally double-paid for a course. Sent a support request to get a refund, and they answered that their policy was to talk to me, to make sure I was who I said I was.
