First off: about the Tree of Knowledge.
The purpose of the Tree of Knowledge is to keep you from doing your own assessments, to take ready ideas and swallow them whole. Ultimately the aim of the Tree of Knowledge is to keep you in sheep state.
If you ever visited a mental institution, you have seen the zombie-like patients, that whenever they started to act as people, they were injected with chemicals, to make them comply.
The Tree of Knowledge is the larger than a psychiatric ward solution to the same “problem”. The Tree of Knowledge controls you with words and words that carry emotions.

Here is another thing I found in that book: schedule your “one thing” times and your life around your breaks, around your vacations.
I read it last night.
It is the most shocking thing. Breaks? Vacation?
Ever since at age 17 I decided to become a high achiever, I never planned breaks, never planned vacations, never even planned for weekends without work.
I had unplanned breaks, when I collapsed from exhaustion… or got ill. but planning for breaks? Never.
Without this new context I would never have shared this with you. I would not even think of it, this is just how it is.

Something interesting happened to me this morning: I got scared.
What’s so interesting about that, Sophie? Good question. I don’t normally get scared. Last I got scared when Trump got elected. That was four months ago. That was also interesting. ((That is my “invented” attitude about life: it’s interesting. A lot like a bug. You can say “ugh”, or you can say “interesting” and then observe it. I choose to do the second. It’s helped me be even keeled and undisturbed, so attitude is a keeper.))
You can say that I get scared twice, maybe three times a year… nowadays.
So what happened that scared me this time was a request to “read” someone’s vibration. Not the whole ten measurements, the starting point measurements, just their vibration. That is always a warning sign, by the way. It means, I feel, that there is no curiosity, it is just checking ME against what they KNOW.
Of the 10 measurements the vibration is the least useful and you have the least amount of chance to effect directly. So when someone only asks for that, my warning signals go off… Either they are too stupid, or too arrogant to know what is up.

I am reading a book, The One Thing. Tai recommended it, so I had been resisting.
But like most of the book Tai recommends, it does have a kernel of gold… Maybe more than one kernel.
One of these is what he says about will power. Quite fascinating and very useful.
He says, that just like glycogen, brain food for thinking, will power uses energy, food, and can be depleted.
I don’t rely on will power, because about a year ago I started to reorganize my life to habitually do the things that serve me, and remove the opportunities for doing things that don’t serve me.
It did take will power to establish the habits, but I did it one at a time, and one at a time it was easier to see that the new habits served me.

This is part 2 of the article “The crucial difference between people who are on the top and you”
I will start with a confession: this is new knowledge. I myself have been part of the “not on the top” people…
Let me explain what happened.
About a month ago I read an article that had a list of 20 books that Charlie Munger recommends.
I measured Charlie Munger’s overall intelligence at 150. And decided that he probably knows something that I don’t. Both Warren Buffet and Bill Gates say that he is the smartest person they know… so who am I to not want to learn from him.
But instead of learning from what he says (you’ll see why later in this article), I decided to learn from where he learns from.
We have been doing the same in the 67 steps coaching…
So I promptly ordered four of the books on his book list, and started to read.

I slept till 7 today. That is two hours past my normal wakeup time.
I had a dream till the moment I opened my eyes. Lots of smart people to talk to in the dream, so I was hanging around longer than usual. Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Bill Gates, Michael Jordan…
I wasn’t looking for answers, I was looking. And I got some answers.
I was curious to see how they were that they could go so far in wealth, success. In fame.
One of the most important thing I saw is that they didn’t try. Didn’t try to understand things. There was no forcing. No violence.
When I watch you, you have two modes: you try and give up.
Trying is forceful. It is violence.

What happened to humanity, starting at the beginning of the 20th Century is a big tragedy.
Success literature happened.
And success gurus, success writers, motivational speakers, and the whole industry of the Lottery Approach.
The same thing happened in spirituality and in healing. Even religion was kinder to people… Even religion robbed them less that this new wave of success literature. Killing Life… for most people.
Liars, shysters, snake oil salesmen, con artists. all making money through selling lies. Teaching you things that don’t work.
Unfounded, untested, untrue.
With rare exceptions.

I wrote about skill building yesterday.
One of the skills you need to build is to eat right.
The information out there is faulty.
Just like the person who commented on my site this morning, people, who are clueless, misguided, delusional, have as much right to post on the internet as people with legitimate knowledge. And they do… in droves.
It is as if you went to a school where the teachers were volunteers from all walks of life, and you can’t tell the difference between what they teach and what is so.
A lot like church. If you say it fervently enough, it must be true.
SOURCE: click to continue reading Does what you know about eating serve you well?
When you want to make sure you only eat what is on your food list, I suggest that you don’t have anything in your cupboards that you should not eat.
But what should you do if you are always distracted, click-baited on the Internet, and therefore never amount to much? Never amounting to much is a version of being fat, obese, a lump of fat… in a way.
This is how I do it?
I have a lot of small things to do I have chosen, the good food equivalent for my success and growth, that I have committed to do every day.

As you may have noticed, one of the spiritual capacities that can raise your vibration is willingness.
But I am a lot more interested in unwillingness… because no amount of desire to be willing will counter unwillingness in its many forms, with its many causes.
One of the reasons for unwillingness to be so ubiquitous, is that it is counter intuitive.
When I say “intuition” I don’t mean real intuition. I mean that if you live on the Tree of Knowledge, then what is intuitive to you is what makes sense… on the Tree of Knowledge.
And about 70% that makes sense on the Tree of Knowledge is actually useless, untrue, falsehood, and damaging.
Being willing does not make sense on the Tree of Knowledge. What makes sense is to resist.
